Mr Hills has practiced extensively in corporate, finance and resources law. He was a partner of Wright Legal, a niche Australian resources industry focused banking and corporate law firm, before joining Resource Capital Funds in 2006. Mr Hills’ practice included acquisitions, public offerings, corporate and securities regulation, project development and corporate and project finance acting for mining companies, financial institutions and government bodies both in Australia and overseas.
On graduating from Law School, Mr Hills was the Associate to His Honour Justice RD Nicholson of the Federal Court of Australia and subsequently trained with the Australian law firm Freehills for 6 years prior to becoming a partner at Wright Legal in 2001.
Mr Hills’ has lectured in Equity and Trusts at Murdoch University and given a number of papers to the Law Society of Western Australia in relation to debt securities and corporations law.
Mr Hills has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Laws with a First in Honours from Murdoch University.
